One of the places my hubby and I have always wanted to visit is Cuba. We had a trip planned 2 years ago, but our newest Grandson changed those plans. LOL I sure did not want to miss his arrival, so we cancelled everything.
One of our special friends is getting married in March and they are doing it in Varadero, Cuba. They invited us and we jumped at the chance to spend 2 weeks there. But then, I qualified for the Thailand Grand Vacation trip from Stampin' Up! we had to decide between the two trips. We were so disappointed that we couldn't go to Cuba and enjoy their special day with them.
So instead, I made them Wedding Favours. Here is a picture of what I created for them ....
Because the wedding is somewhere hot and sunny, they elected to put battery operated candles inside them instead of chocolate.
Then last weekend, they came to visit and we made their wedding invitations. Here is what they look like ....
She loved the card in the Occasions catalogue, so we cased it right from there, then printed the sentiment on the computer. The flip flops have wink of stella clear glimmer on the soles and the straps. So cute, don't you think? We will be thinking of them in March in Cuba.
