Hello Friends!
I don't always get the Host (ess) sets from the Stampin' Up! catalogue, but this Annual Catalogue has some amazing Host sets in it.
I made this card and used a bit of masking to make the flower image double stemmed instead of single stemmed.
I stamped the image onto a large post it note and cut out just around the left side. I stamped the bottom image on the cardstock first, then applied the "mask" over top of it. This allowed me to stamp the second image (the top one) over top of the first image and make it look like the flower is multi stemmed. A bit of colouring with Many Marvelous Markers and it was done. This would make a great sympathy or birthday card too. I layered the whisper white stamped piece onto a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock then onto a thick whisper white card base. It is flat and easily mailed. I used Peekaboo Peach to stamp the colour into the flower image.
This stamp set is called Two Step Stamping because you stamp it in multiple steps. First the outline image, then the colour for the flowers and leaves / stems.
Give Masking and Two Step Stamping a try. CLICK HERE to place an order. If your order is over $200 Canadian, you can order this stamp set as part of your Stamping Rewards. Or EMAIL ME and I would be happy to place your Canadian order for you. If you order through me, I will send you the recipe to create this card at home.
This month's Host Code is MQXMT2V3 I would appreciate you using it when you place your order. If your order is $200 (Canadian) or more, please don't use the code as your order qualifies for Stamping Rewards and then you can order the Gift Of Love stamp set.
Have a crafty day! Glenda Mollet
