Prized Peony Card Tutorial With Just Use That DSP Theme

 Hi Friends!

I am always on the lookout for new ways to "Just Use That DSP" and I recently found this one.

I am sure you are like me, with piles of cherished designer papers in your craft room. Well, now is the time to Just Use That DSP and make room for even more beautiful papers!

I created the card shown above on Monday during my Make It With Me Monday Live Stamping in my facebook VIP Group.

I encouraged stampers to join me in creating this card, but they could also just watch and enjoy, then create it later on their own.

I used the Prized Peony stamp set and You're A Peach designer paper. But this layout will work with any stamp set, any colours, any theme and any designer paper.

Prep it using what you have in the craft room, then watch the video below and create it along with me.

Sometimes that does happen, and this time I had a lot of fun using the Simply Elegant Specialty designer paper and the Prized Peony bundle.  I was inspired to create this peony card from the beautiful flowers I saw recently on our trip north to see our Grand Children.

Saying Good Bye To Peony Garden Designer Paper

 Hi Friends!

 I fell in love with the entire Peony Suite when it first came out. Now the Peony Garden designer paper is retiring and I am going to miss it's beautiful, sophisticated colours and patterns.

 

Here's what Stampin' Up! says about it ....

 Last Thursday I shared how to create this beautiful Peony card during my Thursday Night Live Stamping in my facebook VIP Group.

Peony Garden Suite

 Hi Friends!

Each month the Hostess for our Monthly Stamping Club gets to choose the bundle or suite that the project will showcase.

Next month our Hostess chose the Peony Garden Suite and I was happy to create some beautiful projects using the suite.

 

I can't show them to you, because we have not yet made them, but here is a card I made a while ago using the same suite.

I added some Champagne Foil, embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder, to the card to bling it up a bit.

Other items from the suite include the Prized Peony stamp set, Peony dies, Peony Garden designer paper, Elegant Faceted Gems, Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon.

The entire suite is showcased on this beautiful card. It was inspired by one Rachel Tessman did.

Yesterday on my facebook page, I used a tutorial by Gail Ellis to create 6 stunning cards using one 6 x 12 piece of designer paper and the Prized Peony stamp set.

There was Pool Party and Basic Black items used as well, and together they make cards that are definitely works of art.

Prized Peony Monday Mystery Stamping - A Cased Card

Hi Everyone

Today is Monday Mystery Stamping on my facebook page. I do a Zoom and stream it live so everyone can participate.

Each week I create a card, post a recipe and set up a Zoom link for Monday morning at 10 am Pacific Time.  Stampers join me on either platform and craft along with me, or just visit and have fun.

Today I cased a card by Mary Brown that uses the Prized Peony bundle with a different colour palette.

The cardstock is Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock with Whisper White for the sentiment and to stamp the peonies on.

I coloured the flowers with a lot of Stampin' Blends:
Pool Party combo
Bermuda Bay combo
Pretty Peacock combo
So Saffron combo

The leaves are coloured with the Old Olive combo and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends.
