Elegant Fern & Flora Card with Moonlit Flora Designer Paper

 Hi Friends!

Earlier this week I shared this elegant handmade card live featuring the Fern & Flora bundle and Moonlit Flora Designer Paper, and I absolutely love how rich and layered this project turned out.

Elegant handmade card featuring layered fern die cuts, yellow flowers, and rich green Moonlit Flora Designer Paper with a white sentiment label that says “You’re an amazing friend.”

The combination of deep greens, beautiful foliage patterns, layered die cuts, and soft floral accents creates such an elegant design. The Moonlit Flora Designer Paper does so much of the work for this card and makes it easy to create a project that feels detailed and sophisticated.

During the live demonstration I shared tips for combining patterned papers, layering foliage die cuts, and adding dimension without overwhelming the design.

If you missed the live video, you can watch the replay below and create along with me. I hope this card inspires you to pull out your favourite greenery dies and beautiful designer papers and spend some time creating.

Double Pull Out Fun Fold Card with the Fern & Flora Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Even though I am away this week enjoying some family cruise time, I could not leave the craft room completely quiet! 💜

I still wanted to share some creative inspiration with you, and this gorgeous Double Pull Out Fun Fold card felt like the perfect project. This card uses the beautiful Fern & Flora bundle paired with the rich and tropical Moonlit Flora designer paper for a layered, lush design that really stands out.

Handmade Double Pull Out fun fold birthday card created with the Fern & Flora bundle and Moonlit Flora designer paper featuring layered tropical greenery, vellum accents, rich green tones, and botanical die cuts on an interactive fold design by Glenda Mollet.

One of my favourite things about this fold is the interactive element. The Double Pull Out design is fun to create and gives you lots of room to showcase beautiful designer paper and decorative details. The tropical greenery from the Fern & Flora bundle works perfectly with the rich colours and botanical feel of the Moonlit Flora paper.

Here's the measurements for what I used:

  • Peaceful Pine card base   5-1/2 x 10 scored at 4-1/4 & 8-1/2
  • Golden Glow                   2 x 4-1/4
  • Berry Burst                      1-1/4 x 3
  • Basic White                     2-1/4 x 3 (x 2 pieces) for the inside sentiments
  •                                         2 x 3
  • Vellum                            3-1/8 x 3-7/8
  • Moonlit Flora DSP         7-3/4 x 4-3/4 scored at 1/2, -5/8, 4-1/8, 4-5/8
  •                                         5-1/4 x 4

I used the Fern & Flora bundle and the Words & Wishes Bundle and finished it off with some 2026-28 In Colour Dots.

Since I am away this week, there will not be a video tutorial for this project. But here's the replay for one I did using the Lily Of The Valley bundle that I shared on Monday's blog post.

The combination of embossed backgrounds, a strip of designer paper, and delicate die cut foliage gives this card a clean look while still feeling rich and detailed. It is one of those designs that looks more intricate than it really is, making it a great option when you want something special without a lot of fuss.

In the video below, I walk you through how this card comes together and share a few tips for layering and adding dimension to your projects. You can easily change up the colours or papers to suit any occasion, which makes this a layout you will want to use again and again.

Watch the replay below and enjoy creating your own version of this textured Fern & Flora card.

How to Make a Slide Lock Gate Fold Card with the Fern & Flora Bundle

 Hi Friends!

If you love fun fold cards that have a little something extra, this one is definitely for you.

Open slide lock gate fold card showing patterned yellow panels and layered floral front panel with botanical background and thankful sentiment using the Fern & Flora bundle.

Open slide lock gate fold card showing patterned yellow panels and layered floral front panel with botanical background and thankful sentiment using the Fern & Flora bundle.

This slide lock gate fold card was a project I recently shared with my Team, and it quickly became a favourite. It has that perfect mix of beautiful design and interactive detail that makes it feel really special.

Using the Fern & Flora bundle, this card combines a rich botanical background with layered elements on the front panel. The real highlight, though, is the slide lock closure, which keeps the card neatly closed and adds a unique opening experience.

It may look complicated at first glance, but once you see how it works, you will find it is very achievable and so much fun to create.

This is a great fold to use when you want to make a card that stands out and feels a little different from the usual layouts.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through the full process step by step.

How to Make a Floral Card from a Stampin’ Up! Convention Make and Take with Fern & Flora

 Hi Friends!

There is something extra special about projects created at a Stampin’ Up! convention, and today’s card is one I knew I had to share with you.

Convention make and take handmade floral card featuring a dark botanical background, layered yellow flowers, green foliage, pink butterfly accent, and sentiment panel created with the Fern & Flora bundle.

Inside of handmade card with a small stamped yellow floral cluster in the corner and clean white space, created with the Fern & Flora bundle.

This design was a make and take from an add-on class, and it immediately stood out with its bold botanical background and beautifully layered floral elements.

Using the upcoming Fern & Flora bundle, this card combines rich patterned paper with simple layering to create a design that feels both detailed and approachable.

The bright butterfly adds just the right pop of colour, while the clean focal panel keeps everything balanced and easy to recreate.

Projects like this are such a great reminder that you do not need complicated techniques to create something truly eye-catching.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through how to recreate this convention-inspired card step by step.

Layered Fern Fun Fold Card with the Fern and Flora Bundle

 Hi Friends!

If you love botanical cards with soft layers and natural textures, this is a design you are going to want to try.

Layered botanical fun fold card featuring detailed fern die cuts, soft green patterned background, and pink floral accents, created with the Fern and Flora bundle and Moonlit Flora designer paper for an elegant handmade card design.

Layered botanical fun fold card featuring detailed fern die cuts, soft green patterned background, and pink floral accents, created with the Fern and Flora bundle and Moonlit Flora designer paper for an elegant handmade card design.

For this card, I used the Fern and Flora bundle along with Moonlit Flora designer paper to create a layered look that feels both elegant and easy to recreate. The detailed fern die cuts add beautiful texture, while the soft background keeps everything balanced and light.

One of my favourite things about this card is how the layers come together without feeling overwhelming. By combining simple shapes with detailed elements, you get a design that has depth and interest while still being clean and versatile.

The pop of pink adds just the right amount of contrast against the greenery, making the focal point stand out without taking away from the soft botanical feel.

This is a wonderful layout to keep in your collection because it works for so many occasions. You can easily change the colours or sentiment to suit birthdays, thank you cards, or just because moments.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through the full process and share tips for layering and placement.
