Mixed Bunch Hello card - cased

I really like cards that are mostly white with a blast of colour.  This one was cased from Mary Brown over at Stamper Camper's Corner.

When Stampin' Up! did their colour renovation a couple of years ago, I really missed the purples.  Yes we have Perfect Plum, but there was no light purple to go with it.  Oh happy day when they introduced Wisteria Wonder.  Now we have had it for almost 2 years to play with, and it will be retiring at the end of June this year!  Oh how I will miss you ....

Stamps:  Mixed Bunch, Elementary Elegance (R)

Ink:  Versa Mark, Wisteria Wonder

Paper:  Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Cardstock Vellum

Other:  Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine, Blossom Punch, Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder, In Colour Printed Brad

If found it a lot easier to punch the vellum when I put a sheet of computer paper (aka copy paper) behind it to give the punch more to grab onto.

I cased this one from the just retired Occasions Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!. It was ont page 16.  I love using punches for uses other than what they are intended for.  This card uses the Blossom Punch to make a butterfly.  I also used the new Diagonal Plate for the Score It tool to make diagonal score lines on the white background.  However they are not so obvious in this picture.
