Create Stunning Christmas Cards with This Surprising Technique

 Hi Friends!

Let’s add some holiday cheer with a handmade Christmas card that’s just as fun to make as it is to give! During my latest live stamping demonstration, I featured this bold and beautiful “Merry Christmas” card using the Jolly Holly Hybrid bundle, Party Alphabet dies, and the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Paper (now retired).

At first glance, this festive card looks simple, but don’t be fooled—there’s a sneaky little technique hiding in there that makes it extra special! I’ll walk you through exactly how to create this look during the video tutorial, and we’ll even kick things up a notch by making a second version using a jaw-dropping new paper that’s coming in the September–December Mini Catalogue. Oh my goodness, it is SO good—you’re going to want it all!

I love how the large die-cut “M” and “C” create the perfect canvas for the greenery and shimmer from the Season of Green & Gold paper to shine. Layering them over a holly-embossed background gives the card texture and depth, while those stitched sentiment blocks bring everything together with a polished finish.

Create a Stunning Holiday Card with the Jolly Holly Hybrid Bundle

Ready to dive into holiday cardmaking? In this live stamping demonstration, I featured this card made with the Jolly Holly hybrid bundle—and let me tell you, this one was so fun to create!

The Jolly Holly bundle includes a coordinating die and embossing folder that can be used at the same time, making it super easy to get beautiful texture and dimension with one run through your machine. The sample card I shared in the photo uses the soft, wintery Cloud Cover colour, but during the live I mixed things up with a bold, beautiful colour combination that really brought this bundle to life in a whole new way.
