Finding Tranquility: Creating a Breathtaking Card with the Blessings of Home Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies

 Hi Friends!

In the realm of card making, there are few things more fulfilling than designing a breathtaking card that evokes warmth, serenity, and a sense of home. Today, I am excited to share with you a stunning card I created using the exquisite Blessings of Home stamp set and coordinating dies by Stampin' Up!

Join me on this creative journey as we explore the process behind crafting a card that emanates tranquility and heartfelt sentiments.

To infuse a sense of serenity into my creation, I carefully selected a soft and soothing colour palette.

With my colour palette in mind, I began by stamping the enchanting floral bouquet image onto the cardstock base using a the same colour of ink - Soft Succulent. This allowed for a soft and dreamy effect, perfectly capturing the essence of a peaceful floral bouquet.

Then I stamped the single flower onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink. Next, I carefully coloured the image using Stampin' Blends markers, blending the shades to create depth and dimension. Adding delicate touches of vibrant flowers and lush foliage brought the scene to life, evoking a sense of natural beauty.

Using the coordinating dies, I proceeded to cut out the  flower. This step allowed me to create depth and layering, infusing the card with a three-dimensional quality. By strategically placing dimensionals beneath it, I achieved a visually captivating effect that drew the viewer's eye to the focal point.

To add a touch of whimsy and personalization, I embellished the card with a sprinkle of iridescent dots, mimicking the sparkle of sunlight on a tranquil day. These tiny details provided the finishing touches, elevating the card's visual appeal and capturing the essence of a serene home.

The inside was also stamped to coordinate with the front.

Crafting this beautiful card using the Blessings of Home stamp set and coordinating dies was a journey filled with inspiration, creativity, and a longing for the comforts of home. The intricate details, harmonious color palette, and heartfelt sentiment combined to create a card that truly captures the essence of tranquility and love.

The Blessings of Home bundle by Stampin' Up! is now retired.  If you don't have it already, use what you have in your craft room to recreate this beautiful card.

I hope this project inspires you to embark on your own creative endeavours and bring moments of joy and serenity to those around you.

Blessings Of Home Swap Card

Hi Friends!

I recently took part in a Canadian Demonstrator Card Swap and this is a sneak peek the card I created for it.

For the swap, we make 20 cards all the same. Then we mail them off to the Swap Coordinator, and receive 20 different cards back!

It's a wonderful way to get samples of new products without having to make 20 different cards. I love it, and this group provides some beautiful cards to use for my upcoming Catalogue Launch Party!

I will be sharing how I created this card during my Drop In Live Stamping tonight in my facebook VIP Group.

CLICK HERE to join us tonight!

Are you subscribed to receive my Weekly Newslsetters?  Each Tuesday morning I send out a brief newsletter with all the current happenings In My Craft Room. It includes links to all of the demonstrations I did during the previous week, a list of what is coming up, and any promotions or specials there are.  But I also include a free project pdf each week!  Yup, a free project tutorial each week just for you.

All you need to do is subscribe using the form that drops down while you are reading this, or use the form on the right side at the top of my blog. They both get you two free tutorials immediately, plus each week you will get another one.
