Playing In The Rain Happy Day Card For The Trip Achievers Blog Hop!

 Hi Friends!

Welcome to our Trip Achievers Blog Hop for March! You will find a list of Hoppers just above my signature below.  We are a world wide group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who love to hop together.

Today's card is one that I did with my Seniors Stamp Crafts Class at our local Sunshine Club.

We used the Playing In The Rain bundle and Dandy Design free Host designer paper (DSP) ...

And the inside. .. ...

To create this card you will need:

 ** Balmy Blue cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

** Basic White cardstock 5-1/4 x 4 (for inside), 4 x 4 (to stamp and die cut bunny, sentiment and flowers)

 ** Dandy Design DSP 3 x 4 (x 2 pieces)

You can find a list of other supplies I used under my signature at the bottom of this post.

Here's a tutorial for you to make this card:

  • Stamp in memento ink, and die cut the bunny and the flowers
  • Stamp the sentiment in memento ink, and die cut it using the layering circle die #2
  • Hand cut out the puddle from under the bunny die cut
  • Colour the bunny and flowers using Stampin' Blends - BAlmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight
  • Emboss the 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Balmy Blue piece with the brand new Basics Embossing Folder - Dots
  • Attach the embossed piece to the card front using Stampin' Seal
  • Attach both pieces of DSP as shown using Stampin' Seal
  • Attach the bunny to the front using Stampin Dimensionals
  • Attach the puddle underneath his feet using Stampin' Seal
  • Adhere the flowers using Tombo glue
  • Adhere the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Use a glue dot to attach the Dragonfly
  • Add Festive Pearls
  • Stamp the flowers along the bottom of the 5-1/4 x 4 Basic White piece and an envelope
  • Colour using the Stampin' Blends
  • Attach to the inside of the card

Each month I host a Stamp A Stack Class which is also my Monthly Tutorial Subscription.

For the class we create 3 cards, and for the Subscription you get tutorials for those three cards, PLUS a bonus exclusive 4th card.

In April we will be using the Hello, Irresistible Suite and the cards are gorgeous.

Glenda, I love how you used one of the new BASICS embossing folders on your card. That texture is perfect!
