I saw a card online by Jolanda Johnstone, using Bleach yesterday. It inspired me to create this one.
I used the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
When you use bleach on cardstock, you never know what will be revealed. It's just like magic!
I tried Soft Suede, but the underlying colour was a bright yellow, kind of like Mango Melody. Not what I was going for.
So I switched to Cinnamon Cider. Oh My! It revealed beautiful Rococo Rose "splotches" underneath. I was very happy with that one.
So I grabbed some Rococo Rose cardstock, and created the card you see here. Just a few supplies and you have a beautiful card for any occasion. I chose to use the Happy Anniversary sentiment from Many Mates. I stamped it on a separate piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and die cut with one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels die set. But you could just stamp the sentiment right on the cardfront.
The background was sprinkled with bleach to add the speckles. I used an old Wink Of Stella brush pen which works really well. And it added some sparkle at the same time. The tip of the brush was not damaged in any way by the bleach.
I hope this inspires you to use a bit of bleach and see what you unveil.
Have a wonderful day!
