Sitting Pretty - What's New At Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Hi Friends!

I am happy that you are joining us for our hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Today we will feature products from the Brand New 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today!

My card uses the brand new bundle "Sitting Pretty".  It consists of the Sitting Pretty stamp set and matching Pretty Park dies.....

I used some White Embossing Paste coloured with a couple of drops of Smoky Slate reinker to make the background.   When it dried, I used the Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add some sparkle, but it is hard to see in this picture.  Then I embossed under the bench with the cobblestone die that comes in the Pretty Park die set.

I love how Stampin' Up! left some white areas in the plant, don't you?  This is a 2 step stamp image. First I stamped the outline of the leaves, then I added the colour part.  The white areas really highlight the airy quality of the plant.  The bench is die cut out of some of the Wood Textures designer series paper, and the branches above the plant are from the new Rooted In Nature stamp set.  The sentiment from Varied Vases is die cut using a die from Lakeside dies, and the bird and squirrel belong to Sitting Pretty as well.  A lot of new products on this card, and boy do I love all of them! The background piece of cardstock is Soft Sea Foam, and I can see this one is going to be one of my vary favourite colours in this catalogue.  I layered it onto a Thick Whisper White card base along with some Mossy Meadow which is a returning colour to our catalogue.

Please continue on along the blog hop.  I am sure you will find some amazing projects ...
