HI Friends!
Here is the third card that we made at the March Stamp-a-Stack. It also uses the Petal Palette bundle which includes the Petal Palette stamp set and Petals & More dies.
I cased this card from Heather Cooper. I wanted to use the Brusho Colour Crystals on a card. I have been searching and searching for ideas and how to tutorials. This product is brand new to me and I was unsure how to use it. This card has a lovely background on the main art piece which is not to "in your face". The Brusho crystals are very very intense and the more you use the brighter and more intense the colour gets. I am not typically a bright vibrant card maker so it took me a while to find a way to use the crystals that pleased my artistic eye. This card does that ....
First I stamped the flower and dot images in versamark and used white embossing powder on them. Then I wetted the shimmery white cardstock using an aqua pen. Then shook some gamboge, moss green and brilliant red brusho crystals onto it very, very lightly. I mooshed these around a bit with the aqua pen to smooth out the colour and blend it. Then I shook some more crystals over the top and just let them dry without any more water or mooshing. If there is too much water on the paper, you can gently tap it off with some paper towel.
Basic Black 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 folded in half and 4-1/8 x 3-3/8
Petal Passion DSP 4 x 5-1/4
Gold Foil 4-1/8 x 3-3/8
Shimmery White 4-1/4 x 3-1/2 and 3-1/2 x 1-1/4 and 2 x 2-1/4
I used some washi tape to tape the large shimmery white cardstock to a scrap of paper to help keep it flat. Once you have finished creating the background with Brusho and it is dry, trim the cardstock to 3-1/4 x 4.

This is one of the nicest cards I have seen with Brusho. Well done Glenda.
