Each month a wonderful group of Ladies get together for the Monthly Stamping Club. We make some beautiful stamping projects and the Host of the Month brings us a goodie or two to enjoy afterwards in our social time.
This month is the last one in our current rotation, then a new one will be starting in March. There is still one spot left if you would like to join us. EMAIL ME and I will be happy to share what our club is all about.
This month we made 2 cards using some of the Sale-a-Bration items. This first one is a "GMO" which stands for Glenda Mollet Original. I will share the second card tomorrow.
I used the Beautiful Peacock stamp set available with an order over $60 until March 31st. The background is the Watercolour Wash background stamp. To do the fluffy tail, I used a technique we learned at the last Stampin' Up! OnStage in November. Cut a length of Metallic Edged Ribbon and just fray it. If it doesn't fray easily, just cut off the metallic edge, then when the rest is frayed, just add the edge part back into the bundle! It's so easy, but so beautiful, and may work with a variety of ribbons.
