Hello Friends!
Yesterday I shared a card we created in my Embossing Paste Technique Class, so I thought I would share the other 2 cards we did.
The first one was inspired by Margo Bullwinkle. She was so kind sharing a free tutorial on how to create this beautiful card. I used her idea, and added my own twists to it. Here is my version ...
I used Sweet Sugarplum for the main colour. You can just see a swatch of white embossing paste on the background. We used the paste as it comes right out of the container.
The third card was inspired by Sara Fleming. I again added my own twist to the card. I don't drink coffee and so the Coffee Cafe bundle is a stretch for me. But I love it's clean lines and happy sentiments.
We coloured the Embossing Paste with Garden Green reinker before we slathered it onto the crumb cake piece. Slathering is almost the right word, as it is just like icing a cupcake. You can put it all over the whole piece, or just use a swath of it. Once it had dried we added some Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to some of the rectangles for a bit more bling.
I hope these two posts will inspire you to get some Embossing Paste, Palette Knives, and Pattern Party Decorative Masks and start your own Embossing Paste obsession. WARNING: You will become addicted! LOL
