Spice Cake Fabric Card

I recently had a play date with a fellow demo, Barb Tripps.  It was quite the eventful day.  We had so much fun sharing hints, ideas and laughter.  And, the big thing of the day, was sharing the recent 6.4 magnitude earthquake off the west coast of Vancouver Island.  We were just sitting down for lunch when it hit.  Barb was walking, so did not feel it right away.  Her hubby sure did, and the pool had a tidal wave in it!
I gave Barb the task to convert me to using Designer Fabric on my cards.  I am happy to report she did it!!!  Thanks, Barb. Now I have to buy MORE stuff, heehee.  Here is the card she came up with in a matter of mintues .....
We used a texture plate on the background, but you can't really see it in this picture.  I am loving the new Spice Cake Designer Buttons as well.  We did something a bit different for the sentiment.  We first used the Petal Cone Die to cut out a flag shaped piece of Peach Parfait cardstock.  Then we folded it - offsetting the ends - and put a brad in it to hold it together.  A bit of sponging and voila, there it is.
Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Early Espresso
Cardstock:  Peach Parfait, Pool Party
Paper:  Spice Cake DSP
Other:  Spice Cake Designer Fabric, Spice Cake Designer Buttons, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Petal Cone Die, Brad, Word Window punch, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Backgrounds 1 Texture Plate, Fun Flowers Die
Thanks, Barb, for the awesome day.  Can't wait till the next one.  Come back tomorrow for another fabric creation!
Happy Stampin' ......
