Friends Never Fade meets Greehouse Gala DSP

Another "cased / inspired" card for you today.  This was originally one of Lee Conrey's cards HERE is a link to her post.  I took Lee's card and added a little "somethin' somethin'" to it.  Here's my version.....
I stamped the flower from Friends Never Fade on a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks (used my markers), then I cut it out and used a dimensional to pop it up on top of the flower that stamps with the sentiment stamp.  I brayered the Square Lattice embossing folder with Daffodil Delight classic ink, inserted a piece of Whisper White cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot.   Here is a close up picture of the flower poppped up.....

Then for the ribbon I do not have any ribbon in Pear Pizazz, so I used some SAB Certainly Celery ribbon from 2 years ago.  I wrapped one piece around the DSP and Daffodil Delight layers, then I made a fold over bow with another piece.  A third smaller piece I ran through a Ribbon Slider and wrapped that around the folded bow piece.  This is all held together with mini glue dots.  I put a mini glue dot under the wrapped around ribbon where I was going to attach the bow to save it from drooping as the bow is quite heavy.   Here is a close up picture of the bow treatment......

We are going to visit some friends tomorrow in Telegraph Cove and I am bringing one of these cards to them.  Check out this link to their website.  They have "Stubbs Island Whale Watching".  If you are ever looking for an awesome experience of whale watching near Robson Bite on Vancouver Island, BC, go to Telegraph Cove and take a ride on one of their boats.  They are really super people, the owners and the captains too.
Bye for now, off to create more, or read a book, or sit in the sunshine, or take a walk, or talk to the neighbours, or ???????? .........   Glenda Mollet
