Back in June 2010 I saved a picture of a very cute Bunny Punch Art Image by Mercedes Webber. Now I do not know if I got it on a blog (I did search and cannot find one), or received it in an email, or found it on Splitcoast Stampers, but thank you Mercedes for one of the cutest bunny rabbits I have seen. It was originally on an Easter Basket made with the Stampin' Up! Scallop Envelope die.
This month this cute Bunny is one of the images for my Monthly Punchie Class. I did the "how to" page and made the punch images last year, and today I created the card to go with it. I was a bit stumped, until Kim Score posted THIS cute card with her bunny on it. I was inspired and came up with this .....
Can you believe how cute this turned out? Here is a closer view of the bunny image ....
And here are the flowers - I used Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz to add some bling - well of course I did!
I used a couple of different techniques on this card - faux clouds and direct to paper. The flowers are made out of the Island Floral Bigz Die, and the centers are Neutrals Glimmer Brads. I did something different to the sentiment to get it to look like that, can you guess what I did? If there is enough interest, I could do a tutorial on how I achieved it, but not until after my Punchie Class as my Stampin' Ladies will be the first to get that little tidbit of information! If you are in the area and would like to join us for my Monthly Punchie Class, email me, the class is Tuesday, March 29 between 1 pm and 8 pm. Hope to see you there!
This is the post for the other Punchie card we will be making .
Happy Stampin', and I hope to see you soon, In My Craft Room ....
Sweet card, Glenda.

I bet you used the tag punch for the sentiment. I love your creativity, thank you for sharing your talent. If I lived in the area I would attend everyone of your classes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bunny and card! It makes me chuckle. TFS

I've been checking out your blog trying to find the instructions for your adorable punchie bunny. I could probably figure it out, but if you have the punches listed someplace, could you let me know where to find them? Thanks.
