Take A Spin card

I saw a version of this card on Mary Brown's blog.  I absolutely loved the card (and a lot of her other cards as well) and decided I needed to create on of my own.  I changed the colours a bit and made some other changes to the card as well  .......

I made my card 5.5 x 5.5 so I had lots of room to add stars.  Then I inked up my Classic Stars wheel in Night of Navy and wheeled it across the front of the Whisper White piece.  Mary used the Stars #2 die to make her card, but I don't own that die (yet!) so I used the large Star punch and the now retired small Star punch.  I inked the spinner image with my So Saffron and Night of Navy markers and punched it out with the 2-1.2" circle punch.  The Certainly Celery circle was cut out using a nestability.  I added a set of the Game Spinner Hands.
Stamp:  Take A Spin, Classic Stars wheel
Ink:  Night of Navy
Markers:  So Saffron, Night of Navy
Cardstock:  So Saffron, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Other:  Large Star punch, Small Star punch, Game Spinner Hands, nestability

Bye for now, Happy Stampin'       Glenda Mollet

  1. Now this is really cute! Why oh why do you have to make so many cute cards and it makes me want to buy the product - oh woe is me! Did go to SU last night and purchased that embossing folder you used on your last card.
