I used some River Rock cardstock to print the template on. then I stamped it using the new Stampin' Up! Hostess Level 1 set Silhouette Sentiments in Early Espresso and VersaMark. Then I punched out some Itty Bitty Bits small flower punches in Daffodil Delight. I textured them a bit using a paint brush handle end and the spongey bit from my Stampin' Up! Mat Pack. The middles of the flowers are Soft Suede and they have been punched with the now retired Double Circle punch (I believe it is 1/8"). I used some Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (also retired) to tie a bow and add it to the side of the watering can. This would be sooooo cute as a party or Wedding Favour filled with a clear bag full of goodies. You could stamp the bride and groom's names on the round bit just above the spout. The handle could have some ribbons or other decorations on it.
Another little box I created today is this one made using the new Stampin' Up! Petal Card Extra Large Double Punch. I saw it on Janet Wakelands blog.....
I used some retired designer paper and ribbon. It fits two Hershey Nuggets perfectly.......
Can you imagine it with a bunch of crafted paper flowers on the top????
Here is a picture of the new punch......... Item 119273 (page 202) $24.95
Another wonderfully warm day here in Port Alberni, BC, Canada. We are very lucky that it cools down at night to a lovely 15 deg celcius or so. Here is a picture of some visitors we had the other day........
Aren't they cute? They are the reason I do not garden - LOL.
Bye for now, Happy Stampin' ........... Glenda Mollet
Hi Glenda, those are some cute projects. I am not that adventurous. The box would be OK, but , not the watering can. You did a supercute job though. I love the river rock color. Wish they would bring it back. I cherish my ink pad with that color. Hugs, Rea
