Enough already, get on with it, here's my card for today................
I did a bit different ribbon treatment on this card. I took a piece of Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon (the wide stuff that retired a while ago as I don't have the 5/8" one with me), then I tied a piece of the 1/8" Early Espresso Stitched Taffeta ribbon around the middle and wrapped it around the card as well. Then I used some Crystal Effects and adhered a 1/2 back pearl from the Pretties Kit (as my new Basic Pearls have not arrived yet) onto the knot. I think this looks quite classy and can't wait to try it with other colour combos. When I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White, I used Early Espresso, then I hand cut it out. I stamped the HAPPY again in Baja Breeze and popped it up on top of the existing one. I used the flower from Friends Never Fade, inked it up in Pear Pizazz and stamped it off, then I lightly stamped it on the corner of the sentiment. I used the Pear Pizazz marker to outline the squiggle under the words, and added a small half back pearl to the end of the squiggle. I used my clear glitter pen to add some bling to the flower centers and the squiggle under the sentiment.
Here are the rest of the supplies I used:
Stamps: Perfect Punches, Friends Never Fade
Ink: Early Espresso, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizazz
Paper: Greenhouse Gala DSP
Cardstock: Whisper White (8.5x5.5), Pear Pizazz (5.25x4), Baja Breeze (wide oval), Whisper White (2.5x2.5) for the sentiment
Other: Chocolate Chip 15/16" Satin Ribbon, Early Espresso 1/8" Stitched Taffeta ribbon, Wide Oval punch, Medium and Small Half Back Pearls, Glitter Pen for the flower centers and the squiggle.
There it is, simple and quick to make, with some bling and a few embellies to make it pop. Thanks again for visiting, hope you had a super weekend.
