Christmas Crew Christmas Card with Red on White Hot Foiling

 Hi Friends!

There is something about a cute snowman that makes Christmas card making even more fun, and today’s project features one of the adorable images from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Crew Bundle.

For this card, I wanted a bright, clean Christmas look with lots of white and just enough red to really make everything pop. I also brought in some of the Hearth & Home Designer Series Paper and added a little red-on-white hot foiling for an unexpected detail.

The snowman is definitely the star of this card! I love him holding his little “Sending Holly Jolly Wishes” sign. Add in the candy canes, peppermint embellishments and stars, and there are lots of fun little details without the card feeling too busy.

One of my favourite parts is all the texture in the background. White-on-white is one of my favourite ways to add interest to a card while still letting the colourful elements take centre stage.

And then, of course, there is the hot foiling!

We often think of gold and silver when we talk about hot foiling, but colour can be so much fun too. The red-on-white hot foiling works beautifully with the other red accents and gives the card that little something extra.
