From Flat to Wow: Make an Embossed Floral Card Using Bordered in Beauty and Embossed Layers

Hi Friends!

If you love adding texture and dimension to your handmade cards, this project is one you are going to want to try.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring teal floral designer paper, layered die-cut leaves, and a sentiment label, accented with embossed texture using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder and Bordered in Beauty bundle, creating a soft and dimensional card design.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring teal floral designer paper, layered die-cut leaves, and a sentiment label, accented with embossed texture using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder and Bordered in Beauty bundle, creating a soft and dimensional card design.

For this card, I started with a beautiful layout and stepped it up using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder along with the Bordered in Beauty bundle. The combination of soft floral patterns, layered elements, and embossed details creates a card that feels both elegant and easy to recreate.

This is the original card:

And this was another one I created using the same layout:

One of my favourite things about this design is how versatile it is. You can change the colours, switch up the paper, or use different sentiments, and it will look completely different every time. It is the kind of layout that quickly becomes a go-to in your craft room.

The embossed leaves add just the right amount of texture without overpowering the design, while the layered focal point keeps everything balanced and eye-catching.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through the full process, including tips for layering and adding texture.

This is a great card to add to your collection, and one you will find yourself making again and again.
