Peaceful Dock Card with a Stamped Background Using the Boat Image

 Hi Friends!

For this Peaceful Dock card, I focused on creating a background using one simple image. By stamping the boat image multiple times, the background takes on a layered, textured look that feels calm and cohesive without overwhelming the design.

This is a great technique for stretching your stamp sets and creating interest without extra layers or embellishments. It works especially well with scenic images and can easily be adapted using stamps you already have in your collection.

The video tutorial below goes over all the supplies and measurements needed for the card, along with tips for spacing and alignment when creating a stamped background.

As a bonus during the live demonstration, I also created a birthday card using Pride flag colours, designed completely on the fly. This card wasn’t planned ahead of time — it came together organically during the live, and the new Stampin’ Positioner Tool made it easy to line up the images while adjusting the design as I went. It was a fun, creative moment that shows how powerful it can be to simply trust the process and let inspiration guide you.
