Bright and Cheerful Summer Card with Notes & Totes Bundle and Botanical Textures Paper – Live Tutorial Included

Monday night’s live demonstration was all about bringing summer vibes to your craft table with a bright and cheerful card featuring the Notes & Totes bundle. If you’re looking for a fun and colorful design to lift your spirits or send a sunny hello, this one is for you.

The star of the show was the floral image from the Notes & Totes bundle, which I coloured in vivid summer tones to create a fresh, lively look. To tie it all together, I used the Botanical Textures designer paper—but with a twist. I added extra colour to the patterned paper to coordinate perfectly with the flowers and greenery, showing you how easy it is to stretch your designer series paper and truly make it your own.

This project was packed with tips on how to blend colors, match tones across different elements, and build layers that feel light, bright, and full of seasonal joy. Whether you're crafting for summer birthdays, thank-yous, or just because, this design is full of happy energy.
