3 Creative Alternative Card Ideas with the May Paper Pumpkin Kit: Mountain Majesties

Did someone say majestic mountains, crafty friends, and cardmaking magic all in one night?

How to Make a Scenic Handmade Card with Everyday Arches and Splendid Autumn Paper

What do you get when you mix peaceful forest vibes with one perfect arch die? A card that makes people stop and say… wow.

This card was inspired by the fabulous Mary Deatherage, and I just had to put my own spin on it. 

The Everyday Arches bundle is the star of the show again, paired with the Splendid Autumn designer paper—which has this gorgeous painted landscape that reminded me of a walk through the woods at dusk. 

I stamped the trees from the Adventure Together stamp set, added some torn paper texture, and suddenly, it felt like a little postcard from a cozy getaway. Simple techniques, but the impact is big. This design is perfect for sending a cheerful hello, especially to someone who loves nature as much as you do.

Sliding Spotlight Z Fold Card with Gallery Blooms Bundle | Featuring Timid Tiger In Color

 Hi Friends!

If you love a card that moves and surprises, then you're going to want to try this one. During a recent live stamping demonstration, I shared a brand new fun fold I’m calling the Sliding Spotlight Z Fold. It was such a hit with viewers that the name stuck, and I’m pretty sure this one is an original. There’s just something exciting about a card that does more than open and close, don’t you think?

I featured the Gallery Blooms bundle for this project and paired it with the sweet and fun new In Color, Timid Tiger. This shade brings a fresh and modern feel to the design, while all the white space keeps it clean and elegant. I added just a hint of texture using the Pressed Flowers embossing folder on the white center panel of the sliding frame, and it’s the kind of subtle detail that makes a big impact.

Transform Your Handmade Birthday Cards with Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms Bundle and Strawberry Slush In Colour"

 Hi Friends!

The brand‑new Gallery Blooms bundle from the May 6 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue has quickly become my go‑to for fresh floral cardmaking, and today’s birthday card shows exactly why. I paired these gorgeous stamps and coordinating dies with two of the hottest new In Colours—Strawberry Slush and Secret Sea—to create a crisp, modern design that still feels soft and feminine.

The focal image is stamped from the Gallery Blooms set and coloured in Strawberry Slush and Old Olive for a vibrant, garden‑fresh look. Leaf accents are die‑cut from Secret Sea cardstock, adding a cool contrast that makes the pink peonies pop. I framed everything with a panel embossed using the Damask embossing folder, giving the layout subtle texture and that touch of luxury we all love.

Along the right edge, a playful scallop from the Fancy Border dies in Strawberry Slush and Basic White, ties the colour story together. The sentiment comes from the Arched Wishes stamp set, and is stamped in Secret Sea for sharp definition. To finish, I sprinkled on a few 2025‑2027 In Colour Flat Pearls in Strawberry Slush, bringing just the right hint of shine without stealing the spotlight.

Quick & Easy Sunset Silhouette Retirement Card with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Bundle

Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing the third card in my featured series using the Sunrise Sailing hybrid bundle, and it also happens to be another project in my Sunset & Silhouette series. If you love creating dramatic scenes with minimal fuss, this one’s for you.

This quick and easy retirement card came together beautifully thanks to the Full of Life designer paper, which does all the heavy lifting in the background. That gorgeous gradient gives serious sunset vibes without needing any inky blending. I kept the rest of the design simple and striking by layering die-cut sailboats from the Sunrise Sailing hybrid bundle in Basic Black cardstock to create those crisp, bold silhouettes.

A few Strawberry Slush and Pretty In Pink gems add a perfect touch of sparkle without overpowering the scene. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock, keeping everything clean and classic.

If you’re short on time but still want that wow factor, this sunset silhouette handmade card is a great go-to. Perfect for a retirement card or really any occasion that calls for calm, classy, and coastal.

Sailing Into Sparkle with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Bundle and Glimmer Paper Technique

This one’s for my shimmer lovers! I played with the brand new Sunrise Sailing Bundle—launching May 6th—and instantly felt those coastal breezes roll in. Add in a glimmer paper technique that makes the ocean waves dance, and this project became pure seaside magic.

This clean and classy card is perfect for summer birthdays, retirement celebrations, or just sending a little sunshine. The layered sailboats, sparkly water, and beautifully embossed background created with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder come together to make a truly eye-catching design. The circle focal point adds just the right frame for those crisp white sails and dreamy blue tones.

No hybrid embossing required here—just the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and coordinating dies. I love how easy it is to get a polished, dimensional look with just a few passes through the die-cut machine and a little glimmer magic.

Sail Into Summer with the New Sunrise Sailing Bundle: Classic Nautical Card with Hybrid Embossing Folder Tips

 Hi Friends!

If you’ve got a soft spot for sea-themed cards and love that classic nautical look, then you are going to be absolutely smitten with the brand new Sunrise Sailing bundle from Stampin’ Up! © This fresh release goes live on May 6, but I gave it a head start during my latest live stamping demonstration—and let me tell you, it made waves!

This card is a crisp and classy combo of white and Night of Navy, capturing that clean, coastal vibe we all adore. The design is anchored by the hybrid embossing folder included in the bundle, which is where the magic really happens. I used it in two different ways during the demonstration. First, I showed how to use it simply as a traditional embossing folder to create gorgeous textured backgrounds that instantly elevate your card front. Then, I demonstrated how you can take it up a notch by stamping, then die cutting, and embossing the sailboat image all at once. It’s a total game-changer, especially for those of us who love dimension without all the extra steps!
