Spirited Snowman Card Share

Hi Friends!

Don't you just love snowmen?  All types of snowmen? My favourite is the one from Frozen - Olaf! He is just so cute.  This year Stampin' Up! brought out a stamp set called Spirited Snowmen.  It is just a stamp set, it has no dies that go with it, just the stamps.

They are so cute, and I love how they are all "in motion".  Two of our Grandsons are in skating and they are planning on making a Christmas card for their instructors using the skating one.

I cased this card from page 38 of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.  They did theirs in greens but I chose to use Pool Party instead. The colouring is done with Stampin' Blends, so the stamping is done with Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.  If you look real close, you can see that I outlined the image with Light Pool Party Blends.  In alcohol marker world this is usually done to provide a bit of grounding and interest to the image.  There isn't any blending/shading on this guy as the spots of colour are too small.  But I did cover him in Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter and he is sooooo blingy!  I also used the Dark Pool Party to colour the rhinestones before I adhered them to the card.  But putting them on clear works as well.

The sentiment is from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set available in the Annual Catalogue, and it is stamped in Real Red.  A complete list of supplies is below my signature. Just click on any of the images to go to my Canadian Online Store for more information or to place an order.  If you place an order under $200 Canadian, please use the Current Host Code located on the right side of my blog up near the top in a brightly coloured box. I will email you 12 card tutorials as my Thank You!  If your order is over $200, don't use the code as your order qualifies for Stampin' Rewards (FREE stuff)!

Or you can EMAIL ME and I am happy to help you place your order, or answer any of your questions.
