Petal Palette Another Card Share

Hi Friends!

I get asked a lot about where I come up with ideas for cards and other projects.  Some of them I design myself, and some are cased or inspired by other artists. I use Pinterest and Youtube as well as my facebook groups to gather ideas.  It always amazes me that we all use the same Stampin' Up! products and the projects are all so different.

This card was cased (copied and shared) from Windy Ellard.  The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP) makes a really nice accent on the left side of the card, and helps to balance out the colours and make everything work together ....

I used Stampin' Blends to colour the images this time.  Light Daffodil Delight for the bird, Dark Pool Party for the flowers and Light Old Olive for the leaves.  There is no blending on the images, I just chose to colour them all in one colour.  Blends are wonderful for colouring plainly like this, or for blending colours together in a seamless splash of colour.  I also added some Wink Of Stella on the flowers. In My Opinion a card is never finished until there is some bling of some sort!  I. Am. Addicted. To. Bling.

Thick Whisper White 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 folded in half
Pool Party 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 and 5-1/4 x 1
Petal Passion DSP 1-1/2 x 5-1/2
Whisper White 5-1/2 x 3 and 5-1/2 x 1-1/2

I used the largest Stitched Circle die and the Petals & More dies that co-ordinate with the Petal Palette stamp set. You can purchase the stamp set and co-ordinating dies in a bundle and save 10% of purchasing them individually!  And during Sale-a-Bration (until March 31st 2018) you get to choose one FREE item of your choice. A complete list of all supplies used for this card can be found under my signature below.  Click on any of the images to go to my Online Store and place your Canadian order. Or you can EMAIL ME and I am happy to get your order placed for you.  If you order online, please use the Current Host Code located on the right side of my blog up near the top. If you do, I will email you some free card tutorials at the end of the month as my Thank You!  If your order is over $200, don't use the Host Code as your order qualifies for Stampin' Rewards and you can order even more stuff for FREE. I will still email you the tutorials.

I hope you get some crafty time in your craft room today!  Have a Crafty Day
