Painted Harvest Sunflowers

Hello Friends!

I can't believe we are on the second day of March already!  Boy I can't wait for Spring Break in 2 weeks. Our Grandsons and our Teacher Daughter-in-law will be off for two weeks.

During this time I will have limited time for crafting but I will get some quality time in I am sure.  Maybe some crafty time with the grand children too!

The card I have to share with you today uses the Painted Harvest stamp set, which was carried over from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.  I did a lot of fussy cutting on this card, but the end result was worth it.

The background is done in White Embossing Paste and I used the Ombre Technique to colour it as I went down the cardstock.  The paste is coloured with Lemon Lime Twist reinker and I added drops to it as I went down.  It darkens the paste as more inker is applied, creating this beautiful ombre background.

I stamped the sunflower in Crushed Curry (the more solid image) then in Cajun Craze (the lined image).  The leaves are stamped in Old Olive and punched with the Leaf Punch.  I added Wink of Stella Clear Glimmer onto the middle of each flower.  The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.

Thick Whisper White 11 x 4-1/4
Early Espresso 5-1/4 x 4
Whisper White 5-1/8 x 3-7/8, 3 x 3 (2 pieces), 2 x 3-1/4 (4 pieces), 1/2 x 2-3/4
Crushed Curry Stitched Ribbon 6-1/2"

A list of supplies can be found below my signature. Have a Crafty Day!
