Double Z Fold Card Share

Hi Friends!

Today's card is one I created for my Wednesday morning Seniors group.  Way back about 7 ish years I was invited to go to the Stamp Crafts group at our local Seniors Club.  We meet every Wed morning at 9 am for an hour or so.  We started out at 5 stampers, and since have grown to 21.

These ladies range from 50 yrs and up to over 80.  Some of them have been making cards for a very l-o-n-g time, and some are brand new.  It is something that I enjoy doing and boy do they keep me hopping!  They keep inviting me back every week, so I guess they are not tired of me yet!!

Here is the card ....

I have challenged myself to use my designer paper hoard.  Usually I start with a stamp set when I am creating a card.  Then I head to pinterest or somewhere online to get inspiration.  This time I stepped out side my comfort zone, and started with the designer series paper called Fruit Stand by Stampin' Up!  I knew I wanted to make a Double Z Fold card and went from there.

I said to myself, "how am I going to use all that fruit and not make a fruit card.  I was pleasantly surprised to find out if I cut the peach image paper it no longer looked like peaches, just some wonderfully variegated circles with some leaves.  Out came Birthday Blossoms and some Thick Whisper White cardstock.

I also used the Petal Burst embossing folder on the strips.  This embossing folder has a wonderful pattern on it that is like comfort food.  It just makes you want to touch it and look at it for long periods of time!  Thank goodness for the Pansy Punch to punch out the flowers.  The only thing we had to hand cut was the leaves.  Then Stampin' Up! announced the items on sale for this year's Online Extravaganza Sale and the Bunch of Banners dies were on the list for 20% off. It worked out very well, thank you Stampin' Up!

I will post a list of supplies below.  HERE is a link to my online store for you to purchase the embossing folder, die set, stamp set, and all the other supplies to create this card.  Please use Host Code T93UQKDZ if your order is under $200 and I will send you a surprise in the mail.  If your order is over $200 don't use the code as you qualify for Stampin' Rewards.  I will still send you a special surprise in the mail.

You can also EMAIL ME and I will be happy to place your Canadian order for you!

Have a crafty day!  Glenda Mollet, Silver Elite and Going To Thailand!
