Stampin' Up! Seaside Birthday Card

Hello Friends

Today is my weekly visit with the local Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts ladies.  These fun stampers have been putting up with me for over 7 years now!  We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings from Sept to June with a month (ish) off in December.

Today's card was a non Christmas birthday card I call Seaside Birthday.  This can be used for a masculine or feminine card.....

To create this card we used almost every stamp from the Seaside Shore stamp set - page 93 in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and is available in wood mount or clear mount.

Here's the recipe for you.  If you would like to purchase the supplies to make this card CLICK HERE to go to my Canadian Online Store, or EMAIL ME and I would be happy to place the order for you.

Stamps:  Seaside Shore, Tin Of Cards (the sentiment)
Inks:  Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim, Memento
Markers:  Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight, Wink of Stella Clear
Cardstock:  Thick Whisper White - 8.5 x 5.5
                    Whisper White - 5.25 x 4 (2 pieces - one for inside) and 3 x 3 (2 pieces)
                    Copper Foil - 3 x 3 and 3/8 x 2/8 (x 4 pieces)
Other:  Layering Circle Dies #4 and #6, sponge

The fish are hand cut and the black and yellow one is up on Dimensionals.  To make the port hole you will stamp your sentiment then cut it out with the circle die #6.  Use both circle dies layered together to make a frame on the copper foil.  Glue the frame to the sentiment circle, then glue on the small foil pieces to make the "handles" of the port hole.  Once the back ground is stamped, and you have coloured the seaweed, sponge around the outside edge to soften it a bit.  Then add the port hole sentiment and the fish.

This is such a cute card and I know anyone would be happy to receive it on their birthday.

Have a Crafty Day!  Glenda Mollet
