Stampin' Up! Butterfly Collage card share

Hello Friends!

Every once in a while I like to make a collagy type of card.  These are so fun to make and I just let myself go with the flow of what is developing on the card.

To start these cards I choose a focal image first - this time it was the black butterfly.
Then I choose the stamp sets to use on the background
Next comes the colour scheme

First I sponge the colour on to a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, then I stamp the images on top of the sponging.
I stamped the sentiment right on the stamped / coloured piece
Then I ran it through the Big Shot using the Fluttering embossing folder to add even more texture

This was then layered onto some Marina Mist cardstock
A bit of Sweet Sugarplum ribbon wraps around the two layers and then everything was attached to a Thick Whisper White card base.
At the end I added the butterfly and put a string of Basic Rhinestone Jewels for his body and for the bling. Because, you know, no card is complete without bling, right ?????

I used:
Stamps:  Gorgeous Grunge, Timeless Textures, Love and Affection
Ink:  Memento, Pear PIzzazz, Marina Mist, Sweet Sugarplum
Cardstock:  Thick Whisper White, Marina Mist, Shimmery White
Other:  Fluttering Embossing Folder, Butterfly Dies, Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon

Give this technique a try and let your inner self out!  CLICK HERE to place an order. Or EMAIL ME and I would be happy to place your Canadian order for you.
This month's Host Code is MQXMT2V3 I would appreciate you using it when you place your order. If your order is $200 (Canadian) or more, please don't use the code as your order qualifies for Stamping Rewards.

Have a crafty day!  Glenda Mollet
