Weekly Deals - Nov 24 to 30, 2015

Here are today's Weekly Deals ....

The Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper is the MOST amazingly blingy paper of all time!  I use it all the time, and the bling stays on the paper, not on your paper cutter.

The Embellished ornaments stamp set, Berry Merry stamp set and Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack are from the current, but soon retiring, Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue.  Imagine getting these great products on sale!  But only for this week.

CLICK HERE to go directly to my online store to order your very own!

Or EMAIL ME and I would be happy to place your order for you.

Here's the next card in the series I used in my October One Day Mini Stampin' Retreat ....

This card uses the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper behind the Red Foil and Old Olive ornaments.  Gotta love all that sparkle!

Hope you had a crafty day.  I spent all day cutting cardstock for upcoming classes.  Tonight I think I will do a bit of creating.

Happy Stampin'

One Day Mini Stampin' Retreat - Christmas Edition - Card #4

Hello everyone.  I am back today with the fourth card we created at my recent One Day Mini Stampin' Retreat - Christmas Edition.

I just LOVE the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper.  With a little bit of fussy cutting, you get an extra cute image that makes the most wonderful Christmas card ever!  Thank you Stampin' Up! for returning to traditional Christmas images!.

I will be MIA for a couple of days. A whole bunch of us are travelling to Edmonton, Alberta this weekend for the very first ever OnStage Local Event.  Stampin' Up! will no longer be having one convention a year.  They are now doing two each year, and they have gone global.  The main event will be in Brussels, Belgium and for those of us who can't afford that, they are doing local events (two in Canada).  Next week they will post it online for the rest of the demonstrators.

What is so very, very exciting is that we will be getting our hands on the brand new Occasions Catalogue that will go live on January 5, 2016.  We get to physically touch, hold, drool over, and look at and we also get to pre-pre-order some amazing products.  There will also be new products that we will be get to touch and play with while we are in Edmonton.  We fly out this afternoon, and I am so excited!!!!  I will share what I can, when I can share it.  There are rules I must follow.

Have a crafty day!

They are so popular they have been back ordered since the catalogue went live.  I sure hope they are carried over into the Occasions Catalogue in January 2016!

Here's a video on some alternate ways to use them.  Did you know they are white on the back side and can be coloured with almost any medium you like?

I have been asked quite a bit about how to get a nice clean stamped image with super inky new firm foam ink pads.  Today Amy Koenders posted this awesome video on how to fix this issue.  Here's her video ....

One Day Mini Stampin' Retreat - Christmas Edition Card #2

Well here we are back after the great Halloween fun.  Our local town, Port Alberni BC, has a steam train run by our local Historical Society.  During the summer it runs out to the local MacLeans Mill which is a steam mill and National Historic Site.  During the rest of the year, it makes various fun themed rides.  This past weekend it was the very first Halloween Train Ride out to the mill, then the kids got to trick or treat around the various buildings at the mill.  There was a Mummy, hot dogs, crafts and hay rides as well.

My hubby is a Fireman and Engineer on the steam train.  Below is a picture of him standing in the cab of the #7 they use for most of the runs.  Here is a link to the Western Vancouver Island Industrial Heritage Society on face book.  I was lucky enough to ride on the train with our grandchildren and their parents.  It was an amazing afternoon.  The weather started out rainy, but then the sun came out and the kids had such a great time at the mill.  It is one of their very most favourite things in the world to do. Both of their Grampa's work on the train.  Lucky Kids!

Anyways, on to my card for today. This is the second card we made in my recent One Day Mini Stampin' Retreat - Christmas Edition ...

I cased this card from Kim Van Dieppen.  This is such a cute card, and made even cuter by the use of the Stampin' Up! Home for Christmas designer series paper.  The deer and santas in this paper have to be some of the cutest designs I have ever seen on designer paper.

Have a crafty day!
