Oh, Hello Thank you card ...

This was one of my Thank You cards for orders placed in March ....

Sometimes I have a LOT of Thank You cards to make. Each customer within an order gets the same card, but each order has a different card.  And, if you are out of town and order online, you get a different card altogether.  This one is mailed to you.  Want a card of your own?  Just POP OVER TO MY ONLINE STORE and place an order.  If you contact me I will send you the Hostess Code for the current order.

  Stamp:  Oh, Hello
Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Memento Black (we will be selling this soon!!! so excited!!!)
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
  Other:  Nothing at all.

Happy Stampin' and have a great day .....

One Day Mini Retreat - The Pillow Gift

I know I said these posts were over, but I thought I would share this great little treat holder with you .....

It is also known as a Cracker Treat Holder because it looks a lot like a Christmas Cracker.  You use the Envelope Punch Board to punch holes at each end to allow you to "gather" it with ribbon.  If you go to YouTube.com and search for Christmas "Cracker, Envelope Punch Board " you will get lots of videos on how to make this, so I am not going to go into depth here.  A video is much better, don't you think?

  Stamps:  Chalk Talk
  Ink:  Strawberry Slush
Paper:  Strawberry Slush, Silver Glimmer, Whisper White
Other:  Envelope Punch Board, Chocolates of your choice, Silver Ribbon, Banners Die #2

The best part of these treat holders is opening them and eating the truffle chocolates I put inside!

One Day Mini Retreat - The Goodies

The last post from my One Day Mini Retreat is the Goodies I handed out . . . . .

First here is a picture of all the projects together (see previous posts)  . . . .

And here is all the Goodies together . . . . .

This is the Goodie Bag.  I went to the local dollar store and they had these wonderful, bright bags.  Then I decorated them up before I filled them . . . .

Here is the contents of the Goodie Bags.  Everyone received the same bag and contents.  The little bag is from the Twisty Treats kit that was available during Sale-A-Bration.  It is filled with lots of pieces of ribbon   . . . .

And there were 2 door prizes each day.  Each day was the same.  The first one is the Fabulous Florets stamp set (used on one of our projects). The bag is from the February Paper Pumpkin Monthly Kit by Stampin' Up!  It was perfect for my needs. I changed it a bit and added a few items from my stash, but the basic bag and some of the embellishments were right from the kit   . . .

And the second one was the Simply Sketched Hostess stamp set which is wildly popular with a lot of my stampers and highly coveted  . . . .

And last, but not least, a treat pouch made with the Envelope Punch Board, filled with Truffle Chocolates.  I have not shared how to do this yet, that will be my next post  . . .

Thanks for taking the time to go on this journey with me.  I can't wait for the next one.  I am already planning!!!!

Happy Stampin' . . . .

One Day Mini Retreat - Project 9 - Snowman Gift Tag

The final project was another Christmas one ....

I found this cute Snowman Gift Tag created by Maggie Patterson / Ronda Wadeon their My Stamping Best Friend site, but I don't remember where I saw it. Hey, I am just glad I remembered to write down who created it!!!  LOL  It was a free tutorial though, that I know.

  Stamps:  none
  Ink:  Blushing Bride
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Gumball Green, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie
Other:  Bird Punch, Itty Bitty Flower Punch, Basic Pearls, 1/2" Circle Punch, Star Punch (R) or you can hand cut the nose, Envelope Punch Board (for the mouth, this was my addition), Dauber, White Chalk Marker, Silver Ribbon, 1/4" Hole Punch

I am sure you can figure out how to create this tag just from the picture.  The remains of black cardstock after it has been punched with the Envelope Punch Board makes a really cute mouth.

This is the last of the projects from my One Day Mini Retreat.  The next post will be pictures of the Goodie Bags, Door Prizes and Pillow Gifts I handed out to each attendee.

Happy Stampin' . . . . .

One Day Mini Retreat - Project 8 - Nugget Pouch

Almost done with the projects from my One Day Mini Retreat ....

This was another project from the online Creative Convention.  It uses products from the 2014 Sale-A-Bration promotion which are no longer available.  I love FREE stuff and can't wait for next year's Sale-A-Bration!!!!  It uses the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch. This punch is so versatile it's amazing.

Occasions Catalogue page 35 #133324 - $31.95 (click on the picture to go to my online store)

This pouch holds Hershey Nuggets.  At the time I took this picture I did not have any left.  These chocolates are seldom available in Canada, and when they are they are horribly expensive.  So when one of us local Demonstrators makes a trip to the USA, half of the luggage returning with us holds Hershey Nuggets and Ghirardelli Chocolates!!!  Thanks Barb for my chocolate fix this time.

  Stamps:  Banner Blast (SAB-R)
Ink:  Pool Party, Chocolate Chip, Real Red
  Paper:  Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Other:  Tag Topper Punch, Pool Party Seam Binding, Banner Punch (SAB-R), Basic Pearls, Pool Party Twine (SAB-R), Hershey Nuggets (x2)

Only one more project to share with you next post.  Then I will post the Goodie Bags, Door Prizes and Pillow Gifts I handed out to all participants of the retreat.  The Saturday edition of the retreat sold out almost immediately, and I had to add a Sunday edition.  This was a bit slower but we had a full house then as well.  Maybe next time I will have to consider a bigger venue than my "studio" or add another day!

Thanks and have a super day! . . . . .

One Day Mini Retreat - Project 7 - Gift Bow Die Santa

I slipped in a bit of Christmas into the projects at my recent One Day Mini Retreat .....

It is never too early to create a Christmas card.  This year I vowed to start my Christmas cards for classes early!  I will be holding another One Day Mini Retreat in October and it will be all Christmas Themed!  I can't wait, we had so much fun at the last one.

Back in December I saw this great card online.  It was created by Amber Geeham - I think it was on Pinterest.  I loved it and had to create it.  But then Stampin' Up! retired the Gift Bow Die when the Holiday Catalogue retired.  I was BUMMED to say the least.  I so wanted to share this card.  I never gave up hope and Stampin' Up! listened to us when we pleaded with them to bring it back.  They DID!  It is on the Carry Over List - which is a list of items that are still available to order but not listed in any catalogue.

Here is a picture of the Gift Bow Die.  If you click on it you will be taken to a link for the Carry Over List.....

Here are the supplies for the card . . . .
  Stamps:  Petite Pairs
  Ink:  Blushing Bride, Real Red
Paper:  Real Red, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer, Basic Black, Blushing Bride
Other:  Gift Bow Die, Boho Blossom Punch, Perfect Pennants Die, Perfect Polka Dot EF, Owl Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, White Chalk Pen

Now, don't you wish you had joined us for my One Day Mini Retreat?  There are still 2 projects to share with you, then I will share the Goodie Bags, Door Prizes and Pillow Gifts I handed out.  It was an awesome day!  Thank you Ladies who joined me.

Happy Stampin' ....
