I'm Here For You ............

This card was inspired by a card in the July/August 2010 Paper Crafts Magazine.
The card base is Basic Black (8.5x5.5), then I cut a piece of Naturals White at 5.25 x 4.  I put a sticky note mask on the bottom 2.5 inches, and stamped En Francais in Crumb Cake which was stamped off on a scrap piece of paper first to lighten it.  Then I took Baroque Motifs (the large image) and stamped it on top of the back ground with Basic Gray (leaving the mask in place).  I used my Score Pal to score 6 lines on the bottom part of the naturals white layer.  These scores were at 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 1-7/8, 2 and 2-1/8 inches.  I tied a bow made from 12" of Basic Black Satin Ribbon and wrapped it around this layer.  Then I adhered it to the Basic Black card base.I stamped "I'm here for you ....." from the new Occasional Quotes set (a Level 3 Hostess set you can earn for FREE by placing an order, or holding a home workshop that is $655.00 Cdn. or more) in Basic Gray.  I used some of Stampin' Up!s new Basic Pearls (OMG Bling I love Bling and these pearls and the rhinestones are TOO DIE FOR, and so easy to use as they have adhesive on them already) and placed them on the Baroque Motif image.

Hi Glenda, what an elegant card! Black and white is so powerful together. The crumb cake does a great job just being neutral on this piece. Hugs, Rea
